Lars joined the military following his school years. He was a part of nine months of basic military service in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment in the Danish army. He wasn't sure if the military work was suitable for him and he started to look for something different and eventually decided to go into biology. Anette was working for the military for one year, came home from a class for jugglers to show him how well she was able to juggle in just three days. Lars was happy about this and wanted to try it. Therefore, he quit school and joined the juggler's academy. He was taught fire breathing and performing juggling at this institution. He then travelled along with two of his fellow students through Europe as touring artists, performing in cities such as Paris, Munich and Moscow. A few years later, he was into contact with a children's circus, and he studied pantomime in addition to street and children's play.
